Nilus of Ancyra (c. 400 CE) suggested the Essenes were descendants of
Jonathan of Rechab. See *de monastica exercitatione* 3 [reference from
Driver, *The Judean Scrolls* p. 100-101.
Also, Jim West, I do not have the e-mail address, but perhaps someone else
does: there is a article and book copying service in Jerusalem--they will
copy anything you want, either FAX or mail it to you, cost is per page. I
recall seeing this in the List IOUDAIOS some time back.
