Subject: Qumran question
For a number of decades now, the going thesis regarding Qumran is that it
was a small Essene settlement and the documents found in the caves nearby
were the works of inhabitants of that settlement.
Without adding my coloured opinions about the above, what are the views of
those peole on the list who have an opinion on the subject?
