orion-list ORION: Chatsaf (Was: Orion Digest, etc.)

   >If "Chutzpah" is Yiddish,

That's a big "if"...

The root is from Aramaic and appears in Daniel 2:15 and 3:22...
it is hardly Yiddish in origin.

The derived noun form, "Chutzpah" appears in Hebrew by the
first century.

So, yes, in a frail sense the origin of the word is relevant
to Orion.
