Cf. R. Eisler, Hebrew Scrolls: Further evidence for their Christian Date,
in: The Modern Churchman 39, 1949, pp-284-287.
But 'IHSOUS...', 2 vols. Heidelberg 1929f. is more important in
understanding the 'speculative genius' of R. Eisler, who's constant theme
was Zealotism and the New Testament. In the late 20th he had a literary
shootout with M. Dibelius from the 'Gartenlaube-research', better known as
'Leben-Jesu-Forschung'. We may describe the relation between the Albert
Schweitzer Foundation and Eisler as the anticipation of the faith of Robert
Eisenman. It boils down to the same thing when man saddles the warhorse
called Rosinante.
