The most obvious similarity between the QS and 1 Thess that has been 
noted is the phrase "Sons of Light" in 1 Thess 5:5 (huioi fotos), 
which is of course echoed in so-called sectarian documents such as 
1QS 3:13-4:26 (bny (h)'wr).
