orion PERSONAL FASTING HABITS?

Can anyone tell me whether the Dead Sea Scroll community were distinctive
in their private fasting habits?  Specifically, did they fast on two
different days of the week?  And were the Pharisees noted for fasting on
2 days of the week.

I have been told that the early Hassids (?) were noted for this pattern. 
Is there any continuity between this and the time of the Dead Sea
group(s)?
