Symposium on Hebrew of the DSS and Ben Sira




Dear colleagues,

We have the pleasure of announcing an international three-day symposium on


         THE HEBREW OF THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS AND BEN SIRA

        IN RELATION TO BIBLICAL HEBREW AND MISHNAIC HEBREW


                     Leiden, 15-17 December 1997


The symposium will be held at the University of Leiden. Papers will be
presented by ten key-speakers and about fifteen to twenty other speakers.
Below is a list of the contributing speakers. A detailed programme will be
available within two months. The registration fee is fl.100 (approximately
$ 55 to 60) [those attending only one day will pay fl. 50]
