Re: Josephus's inkwells



of course we know that the mishnah in kelim relates that the inkwell
of joseph the priest was pure-- meaning it had a hole drilled in it as
the mishnah explains-- so of course it held no ink-- he used pencil
anyways. but its not clear to me if this yosi the priest is the same
as the one mentioned together with rabbi akiba or not-- i suspect it
might really mean josephus and be a way of saying-- hes ok to read--
his inkwell is pure.
